硝酸形成分子内氢键,分子内氢键形成阻碍分子间氢键形成。正常来说,分子间氢键使得分子间作用力增强,从而使沸点升高。分子内的氢键使得分子本身的偶极在分子内部被抵消了一部分,削弱了分子间存在的范德华力,因此分子内氢键能够使分子之间更容易分开,于是沸点降低,硝酸易挥发。
